Vladimir Novak (1987.) graduated in sculpture in 2017 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. He is a finalist of the Young Visual Artist Award Radoslav Putar in 2022., recipient of the Lokve Sculpture Symposium Award at XIII. Triennale of Croatian Sculpture in 2018, HPB Grand Prix at the 34th Salon of Youth – Panoptikon in 2018, and Rector’s Award at the University of Zagreb for independent project in 2015. He has performed eleven solo and numerous group exhibitions in Croatia and abroad, and has been a resident at Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. His works are part of Fundus of the Academy of fine arts in Zagreb and the Gallery of Antun Augustinčić in Klanjec, private collections and as public sculptures in Vrsar and Bjelovar. During the 2018 teaches at the School for Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb. Since 2019 works as a freelance artist. From 2022 is external associate of Sculpture department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. He is a member of Croatian association of artists and Croatian freelance artists’ association.
